Pigeon Shaman
If anyone could look pigeon into both eyes, that anyone would understand everything.
A picture from a time when I was barely drawing and burned out after my art corporate job. Text from that time: “Inspired by my complex relationship with pigeons (I always sense some alien social intelligence behind them, undoubtedly aggressive); the phrase about wolves and sheep, that sheep are a dumb flock and not at all positive characters; a comic about Gennady the pigeon; a story about shamans in Chingizid’s LiveJournal - mostly the part where I can’t tell the gender of the pigeon (though, like all pigeons, it’s hard to tell); Rin’s the teapot (even though she doesn’t know it, her successes really motivate me); Kalugin’s stories and the fact that I draw too rarely and the more I do, the more it resembles a drug breakdown. I’m very pleased with the biological, imprecise symmetry. I wanted to add color, but for now it’s too inspiring. Maybe I’ll paint it again, but knowing myself, I doubt it.”
